samskritam.net.in, in short SNet, is a ‘One Stop Sanskrit Shop’ founded in 2016 by a group of Sanskrit Enthusiasts.
It is ‘Of Sanskritists, By Sanskritists and For Sanskritists’.
SNet would like to see रामराज्यम् re-established in India, as SNet believes रामराज्यम् is perhaps the most secular form of government ever seen on this land
To achieve our vision, संस्कृतम् should be brought back to this land in full vigour. People of all walks of life need to be empowered with this divine tool, for health, peace and धार्मिक-सम्पत्.
SNet – represented by its trustees, workforce and selfless volunteers – would do all it can to rejuvenate this great heritage of India. While doing so, SNet would maintain स्वयंसमृद्धिः, shunning pure donations.
Woven around 40 Lessons by Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, Delhi and Samskrita Bharati, Bengaluru, this module is supported by a mentor for replying to your responses to our exercises, weekly-once online classes (with choice from around 8 different options).

saṃśālā is an SNet name for a group of learners where children are the focus. Typically one or two families get together and engage SNet for 2 hours per week of Sanskrit. We appoint a teacher to teach them Spoken Sanskrit, while orienting the children to Slokas etc. Typically, this training is in addition to the one which children receive in their regular school. If Sanskrit is a subject in their school curriculum, then they would naturally excel there. At the moment, there are 7 to 8 such learning groups with SNet.
praśālā is an SNet name for one or two like-minded possibly retired persons who need Sanskrit for their later pursuits. They pick up spoken Sanskrit a bit slowly because of their advanced age. SNet offers weekly one class as personal tuition to even one individual. At present, we have 5 to 6 such groups/individuals utilizing our services.
gītāśālā is for people who need personal coaching for proper chanting of Gita and the like. Here the instructor lays sufficient emphasis on proper pronunciation of the chosen text.
Other classes for specialized needs like Chittur Sabha etc also would be taken care of by SNet.

SNet recognizes individual’s efforts to memorize texts like अष्टाध्यायी, सौन्दर्यलहरी, शिवानन्दलहरी, तर्कसङ्ग्रहः. Starting from 2019, it has been organizing such ‘tests’ to let contestants win handsome cash prizes.
This initiative is for promoting dramas and skits in Sanskritam. SNet inherited ‘Sanskrit Theatre’ founded in 1970 by ओगेटि अच्युतरामशास्त्री, a Theatre group specializing in Sanskrit plays.
SNet also organizes Ogeti Charitable Trust’s annual ओगेटि-परीक्षिदच्युत-सुरभारती-पुरस्कारः
Krupalu (Krupalu Ogeti) is the chief mentor of SNet. He is a 1976 Graduate of IIT, Kharagpur. He took to संस्कृतम् about 15 years ago. Born in the family of legendary Ogeti brothers – गीर्वाण-कविमण्डल चक्रवर्ती ओगेटि परीक्षिच्छर्मा and famous patriot and poet राष्ट्रकविः ओगेटि-अच्युतरामशास्त्री. Other recipients of this prestigious award are stalwarts like महामहोपाध्यायः दोर्बल-प्रभाकरशर्मा (2017) and श्रीमान् करणम्-अरविन्दरावुः (2019).ओ
He is assisted by Satya (Satyanarayana Murthy Valiveru, associated with
Krupalu since 2013), Amar (MVR Amarendra Nath, associated with
Krupalu since 2010) and Shiva (Shivakumar Shivapurapu, with Krupalu
since 2014). All are associated with Krupalu’s Samskritam and Gita
endeavours. While Satya and Amar are strong language workers, Shiva
brings in his management experience to SNet.
Uma (Smt. Uma Jayaraman), the illustrious daughter of PadmaSri Mahamahopadhyaya V Venkatachalam (a great Samskrit Scholar of yester years) and a Sanskrit teacher herself, lives in Bengaluru and is closely associated with all SNet’s activities.
In addition, SNet is supported a workforce of 6 to 8 Sanskrit workers – both full-time and part-time – and about 20 Samskritists who volunteer selflessly.
Traditionally, भारतम् had 1/6th (षष्ठांशः) of individual earnings as the ‘tax’ by the state for running the machinery. Accordingly, all दक्षिणा received by SNet is either fully passed on to full-timers or subjected to षष्ठांशः for part-timers.
Accordingly, SNet has
(1) Trustees with management responsibility,
(2) Workforce, both full-timers and part-timers who share its revenues and
(3) Selfless volunteers with no managerial load.
